We caught up with Joe Booth and the AFC Fylde skipper was delighted with a win away from home following last night's comfortable 2-0 win over Ossett Albion.
" Tuesday’s win away from home was important for us, it’s been a long time coming and I thought we played some really good stuff. It was another long coach journey but we got there in good time so we could prepare for the game properly. It was good surface at Ossett even with the slope and we deserved the win. " Booth scored his 12th and 13th goals of the season at Ossett to make him leading scorer at the club this season. Booth is leading the charts ahead of Matt Walwyn on 10 and Mark Wane on 9 goals so far in all competitions.
