AFC Fylde took the points in a dominant display away at Ossett Albion last night. Fylde attacked the home side from the off and should have won the game by half time with chances for Wane, Booth, Harries, Penswick and Uberschor - even home fans and officials were nodding their heads in amazement that Fylde didn't hit the target.
It was left to top scorer and skipper Joe Booth to get on the scoresheet and take the points. He was on the mark twice on the night his first on 68 minutes when Matty Kay's shot on goal deflected off Booth to give them the lead and then on 84 minutes he struck a killer second goal from outside the box with nestled into the back of the net to seal the win.
