AFC Fylde grabbed a much needed win in a scrappy affair at Kellamergh Park.
The visitors Ossett came to Kellamergh Park looking to frustrate their hosts and the game didn't come alive for Fylde until after the hour mark. Matt Walwyn opened the scoring on 67 minutes when Mark Wane's flick on from Joe Booth's header played in the in form striker who hit the ball under the Ossett keeper to give Fylde the lead and his 14th goal of the season.
Ossetts best chance fell to Gareth Hamlet who found himself one on one with Edge but the Fylde keeper managed to smother his effort which was rolling goalwards as they looked to grab an equaliser with 5 minutes remaining. Sub Jason Dodwell then wrapped up the points when he hit a 25 yarder into the top right hand corner a great strike in the final minute.
