Match Preview - Skelmersdale Utd (19/02/10)
AFC Fylde travel to promotion chasing Skelmersdale United on Saturday in buoyant mood after last weekend's 2-1 win over Chorley.

Fylde boss Kelham O'Hanlon hopes to have skipper Joe Booth back after illness and Danny Penswick and Neil Uberschor back after ankle and thigh injuries respectively for the game. Defender Ryan Elderton is a fitness doubt with a knee problem but O'Hanlon will leave it late before deciding who to bring into the squad. A number of youngsters made another good impression for the Reserves on Thursday night despite suffering a 3-2 home defeat to Lancaster City who fielded no fewer than 5 1st team squad players in the side.

Skelmersdale are regarded by many as the best 'footballing side' in the division and are in good form following Tuesday night's 4-1 win away at local rivals Bamber Bridge although they suffered a shock 4-0 home defeat to Radcliffe Borough in their last home game. Earlier this season Skelmersdale beat Fylde 4-0 at Kellamergh Park in a harsh footballing lesson. They currently sit on second spot in the table, six points behind leaders Lancaster City.
