Match Preview - CHORLEY (12/02/10)

AFC Fylde take on Chorley in a 'Lancashire Derby' of sorts on Saturday at Kellamergh Park.

Skipper Joe Booth is keen re-ignite Fylde with a much needed 3 points on home turf this weekend and his team mates echo his sentiments. Neil Uberschor is a fitness doubt as is Danny Penswick for Fylde. Keeper Dave Stevenson trained this week in his comeback from a long standing hand injury and could be in contention. Up and coming Jason Dodwell is hoping for a run out against a club he started the season with as well as Fylde's Chorley based winger Michael Barnes. " Going into this game we need to get that cutting edge, when we do we will beat someone with a hefty score line. We have more than enough firepower amongst the lads and a win will see us level on points with them " said Barnes ahead of the clash

In a weekend packed full of derby day action Fylde will be looking to get back to winning ways against a side that has won their last two games. Steve Waywell brings his team to Fylde with impressive form and no fewer than 4 players who have played for the Coasters. Blackpool born duo Jamie Nay, who started pre-season with the club and big centre back Wayne Maden, who had a short stay last season are expected to line up against Fylde. Stu Howson and Alex Porter will be familiar faces to Fylde fans after they started the season with the club but were allowed to leave earlier this season after a combination of niggling injuries indifferent form found themselves out of the picture and wanting away. Dangerman Chris Amadi was a thorn in Fylde's side at Victory Park and they will have to keep a close eye on him throughout.

Kick Off is 3pm at Kellamergh Park.
