Result - Curzon Ashton 3 AFC Fylde 1 (06/02/10)
AFC Fylde were beaten by promotion chasing Curzon Ashton at the Tameside Stadium.

The home side took the lead when Spencer Harries ran into a crowded penalty box to head home from a corner to give them the lead 17 minutes in.  A carbon copy soon followed when Harris again headed in another corner on 28 minutes, Fylde's defending coming into question for failing to deal with the defender on loan from League One side Huddersfield Town. After the break Fylde upped their game and attacked the home side from the off. They were rewarded for their efforts when Farrell Kilbane volleyed home from Joe Booth's corner. Fylde were then hit on the break by Curzon and Phil Edghill found himself unmarked in the box and slotted home a third goal. At 3-1 down Fylde again rallied and Walwyn missed a glorious chance from Kays cross and minutes later he had another header but directed it wide from 6 yards out. Further chances for Wane and Kay weren't taken and this combined with defensive lapses resulted in a third successive defeat.
