INTERNATIONAL winger Jason St Juste has signed for AFC Fylde and goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game with Gainsborough Trinity.

The 29 year-old was due to sign for a Football League club this week but the move fell through and the Coasters have pounced sign the versatile player.

The St Kitts and Nevis international impressed against AFC Fylde last season for North Ferriby and was part of the FA Trophy winning side, earning the Man of the Match award in the final against  Wrexham at Wembley Stadium.

Manager Dave Challinor said: “’I’ve always said we’ll add the the squad if the right players become available and Jason is a great fit for us.

“He was due to sign for a Football League club, but due to circumstances beyond his control that deal has fallen through and it’s worked to our advantage.

“He’ll bring us flexibility in the fact that he can play wide on either side or has played at left back before, he’s experienced and his pace and ability will add to what we already have.

“I’m sure he’ll be popular amongst fans and players alike and he’ll go straight into the squad for the game against Gainsborough tomorrow.”
