The AFC Fylde Community Foundation was formed in June 2013 and it’s principal aims are to develop and improve sporting participation across the Fylde by developing links with schools and communities.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Wellbeing Officer to join the team. This person will be responsible for delivering a range of health improvement programmes, ensuring the programmes meet the needs of our customers, and that the Foundation is seen in a positive light throughout the Fylde coast and beyond.

The tasks the post-holder will undertake will form part of the Foundation’s flagship ‘Get On Board’ health improvement programme, which includes activities such as; 50+ physical activity sessions, nutrition and advice classes, specialist cancer survivorship classes amongst other health improvement initiatives.

Experience in a role of a similar nature is required.

Due to the nature of the work the post-holder will also need to be flexible as there will be requirement for some out-of-hours working to meet the needs of the Foundation.

This is a part-time position of a minimum of 20 hours per week.
