Development Plan
The club have a Community Development Plan which involves partnerships with various organisations, clubs and schools.
The club is delivering the following:-
Develop Fans of the future scheme offering all local schools family fundays and ticket offers for selected games
Tickets for schools programme with primary schools and junior clubs for selected fixtures 2011-2012 Season
Developing links with 16 local primary schools and 3 High Schools via coaching sessions
After School clubs with Holy Family Primary School Warton, Willows Primary School, Kirkham, St Pauls Primary School, Warton and curriculam coaching at 3 high schools St Bedes, Lytham St Annes and Carr Hill where Dave Challinor is coaching in PE Lessons during school term times. St Bedes High School After School Club for Girls Football launched Jan 2012.
Develop links with local junior football clubs from the area
Links established with Kirkham Juniors and Warton Typhoons to date via guest coaching sessions from AFC Fylde Players and Coaching staff at these clubs. Plans to develop this with Clifton Rangers from February 2012
Develop links with local sporting clubs and institutions from around the Fylde Borough
Working with other sports clubs in the area to build new links. Girls Football now running in partnership with St Bedes High School and Clifton Rangers FC.
Develop Football Courses and Football Camps in the School Holidays
Summer Academies have been a success since we started in Summer 2010 was a success and now AFC Fylde Academy is planned for all half term and summer holidays in 2012
Develop local talent and progress through the Under 18's and Development Squad into the 1st Team
We already have formed strong links with Kirkham Juniors and we are now looking to develop links with other junior clubs across the Fylde Coast for finding new talent for our U18's. Planned Partnership with Preston College for launch of Academy in 2012.
