AFC Fylde are delighted to announce the loan signing of promising Peterborough United midfielder Callum Chettle.

The 21-year-old will spend the second half of the National League campaign with the Coasters.

Son of Nottingham Forest legend Steve Chettle, Callum rose through the ranks at The City Ground, before joining Ilkeston, where he became their youngster ever player at just 16 years old.

An impressive spell at Nuneaton Town followed before he was snapped up by League One side Peterborough in January 2016.

The England C midfielder will join up with the Coasters squad today ahead of Saturday’s trip to Bromley as Dave Challinor’s side look to make it three league wins on the bounce.

More reaction to follow.
