AFC Fylde have been enjoying the lofty position of top spot in the league this season, but recently faced a dizzying height with a difference.

Without a game over the weekend, the Coasters squad visited Challenge 4 Change, an indoor urban activity centre in Manchester, as a team bonding activity.

The 19,000 sq ft arena boasts a number of training rooms plus with many different challenges, including an assault course, tyre pit and a high-rope course, including a Crate Stack, Leap of Faith, Jacob’s Ladder, Climbing Wall, Elvis Pole and a 13-station aerial trek 35 feet up in the air!

Manager Dave Challinor said: “It was a lot tougher than some of the lads expected! The squad were put through their paces and it was a very enjoyable. It was a very worthwhile day and we will certainly be returning.”
