Result - AFC Fylde 0 Clitheroe 3 (09/03/10)
AFC Fylde were beaten fair and square by an impressive Clitheroe side chasing a play off place at Kellamergh Park.

Lewis Mayers scored for the visitors just 3 minutes later when he header home from a corner to give them the lead. Clitheroe then grabbed a second goal when Zac Clarke found Mayers again on 20 minutes although Fylde's Matt Lawlor attempted to stop the ball from hitting the net it went in off the crossbar. In the second Half Fylde rallied briefly but couldn't find a way through, Michael Barnes and Mark Wane coming closest to resurrect something from the game early on but Clitheroe finished the job late on when Nathan Taylor broke clear of the Fylde defence and Captain Jason Jones finished to make it 3-0 on the night. It was a dissapointing night for Fylde after the recent unbeaten run of 5 games and 4 wins.
